The setting

Stables Gallery

The place where couples delight in saying 'I do', the Stables Gallery is the venue's striking double-height ceremony space. The building was once the estate's original stable block and has been beautifully preserved and brought back to life.

Guest note

"The… natural light in the ceremony room provided the most beautiful backdrop for our celebration, and every detail was meticulously maintained"

Our offering

A ceremony space shaped by light, music & detail

An abundance of natural light flows into the room thanks to the grand arched window and sliding glazed wall which frames the view to our historic cobbled courtyard. Three stunning drop-pendant chandeliers provide a luxurious touch and make for a striking finish to the room.

With built-in Bluetooth speakers positioned throughout and an electric piano for use by visiting pianists, the room also houses a balcony, providing a fantastic aspect for photographers to capture those all-important shots of the newly married couple. The balcony, also known as the Minstrels' Gallery, is an extremely versatile space and has also been used for string quartets and as a location for a 'first look' between father and daughter.

Offering a choice of two chair styles to use between the Stables Gallery and the Dining Hall, we ensure that the seating styles for each room are informed directly by couples or event organisers to reflect their decor choices.

Additionally, Broxmouth Courtyard has two beautiful floral installations available for use within the Stables Gallery, which are made available to our couples on an entirely complementary basis. One can be hung above the arched window, while the other can be used as windowsill decor, enhancing the ambience of the room.
